Our willingness to assist you in preparing your own recipes led us to come up with the idea of creating two tools, available via MSE App: the DIO Database and the DIO Control System.
DIO Database
The DIO Database will include both the recipes we will offer you and also all those shared by the users of MSE. Our goal is to encourage the sharing and collective creation of new original recipes so that everyone can benefit from the experience of others.
In addition, the MSE App File Manager lets you organize your recipe files and share them with a few clicks on the DIO Database. You can also restart any recipe program that you have previously saved in your Manager with a few clicks.
DIO Control System
We want to make chemical analysis services available so that you can verify the quality of your preparations. It is not that we encourage you to check and analyze everything. Clearly we don't waste our time analyzing the dishes prepared while following the recipes our grandmothers taught us: a fine mix of aromas and molecules, be they good or bad for our bodies. We don't advocate systematic checking; again, that would be a waste of time. We prefer a more nuanced approach, which means finding the right balance between the best taste and the most healthy combination for the body. With that in mind, it can be useful and fascinating to investigate the composition of the preparations (that you eat, put on your skin, or vape, depending on the type of preparation). The aim of these chemical analysis services is to help you find this right balance. Other users will then be able to benefit from this knowledge: it will be possible to share and store the data coming from the analysis results in the DIO Database. The collected data is used by the DIO Control System.
The DIO Control System works thanks to two principles: the fact that MSE allows you to reproduce identical preparation protocols and statistical machine learning. For example, when you follow a recipe to the letter to prepare French pastry, you rarely get the same result as what your local French pastry shop can offer you. Quite simply because, among other reasons, you don't have the same baking utensils nor (let's be perfectly honest) the same know-how. With MSE, every Alchemist will have the same tools and will be able to follow comparable preparation protocols.
The DIO Control system algorithm will be able to calculate by extrapolation the average concentrations of certain molecules present in your preparations based on the parameters (recipe and protocol) you choose and the data collected from the chemical analyses results. Therefore, the more data we collect together for the DIO Database, the more refined the statistical calculation of the DIO Control System will be. This will allow us to estimate with more precision the concentration of certain molecules in your preparations that you will then be able to check with the DIO Control System (via MSE App).
We've designed My Sweet Extract to make the appliance easily and fully mountable and demountable without the use of special tools. Why? Because we've always loved to play with LEGO®! More seriously, DIY Assembly allows you to:
• Change the caps and the base yourself and choose the colors.
• Replace a part by yourself if necessary (DIY after-sales service).
• Learn while playing at building your own connected tool.
• Recycle each part more easily.
• Clean and maintain the parts more efficiently and easily (in a dishwasher).
• Sterilize the parts in contact with the preparations.
DIY Assembly therefore allows a reduced consumption of parts, adapted to the needs of each user, and facilitates the recycling of each part. DIY assembly also increases the durability of your MSE appliance. And if you don't like playing with LEGO®, we are planning to make a version of MSE already assembled in its carrying case.
